What breaks

Pipedrive is shutting off all V1 API endpoints. Any Zapier or n8n workflow still using a V1 Pipedrive trigger, search, or action fails after the deadline. The risk is not a single error message. It is silent missing data in downstream steps.

Affected triggers, searches, and actions

Zapier labels 30 Pipedrive steps with [DEPRECATING JULY 31 2026]: 12 triggers, 7 searches, and 11 actions. Common ones include New Deal, Updated Deal, Find Deal, Create Deal, and Create Person. The migration path is not always a one-to-one reselect. V2 often removes embedded related data, so you need a Get Deal, Get Person, or Get Organization step to replace a field that used to arrive automatically.

Why reselecting V2 is not enough

Zapier says V2 may return less data. A classic example: the old deal_title from a trigger may no longer be present in V2. The replacement path is often deal_idGet Deal → title. That is a field remap, not a checkbox migration. Every downstream mapped field has to be retested.

The Mimir Works audit

We run a five-step rescue on every affected workflow:

  • Inventory every Pipedrive step carrying the deprecation label.
  • Map each deprecated trigger, search, and action to its V2 equivalent.
  • Identify fields V2 removes and add the correct lookup/search steps.
  • Retest every downstream mapped field, not just the Pipedrive step.
  • Hand off a working Zap, updated field map, and rollback notes.

Competitor-aware positioning

Innovaty ships an automatic Pipedrive V1→V2 upgrader. That is the right fit for simple Zaps. Mimir Works handles the complex ones: multi-step sales paths, custom fields, path logic, downstream remaps, and n8n self-hosted setups where the new node still has open edge cases. We do QA and rescue, not one-click magic.

Deliverables and pricing

  • Template pack: $49–149 — V1→V2 mapping, 10 starter templates, custom-field conversion guide.
  • Per-workflow migration: $300–800 — audit, V2 remap, missing-field lookup, end-to-end test, handoff doc.
  • Retainer: custom — ongoing API-change monitoring and Zap maintenance.

Start with the smallest proof

Paste or screenshot the affected Pipedrive step names from your Zap editor. We will point you to the likely V2 remap order and tell you whether the workflow is a template fix or a DFY rescue before you buy anything.
